Just wondering what your favorite video games are and what console systems you actually own(ed)? Well I really quit console games ever since the start of high school because there just was no time. Now I seldom play video games, only sometimes on PC. My first system was Sega Genesis, followed by Playstation. But some of my favorites of the past were: - Final Fantasy Tactics (best game ever), FF7, FF8 - Xenogear - Legend of Legaia - Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Sonic 2 (I still never beat it, got to the last boss and :crying
lol.. My first game console was an Atari! I still got it! It was a hand-me-down from my uncle. I can put up a pic if anyone likes, hehe.. its really old. Then came my Sega Mega Drive, then my color Gameboy and finally, THE COMPUTER.. ! Also got a PS2, hehe.. My fav. would have to be the computer. I'm not really a PS2 kinda guy.. I just don't think my hands are made for the controller, hehe. Like any other PS2 fanatic, I've scored numerous blisters times on my thumbs; in my case from playing GT3, hehe .

thats wut i heard on G4 once. since its such an old gaming machine, collectors will pay a lot for it. but yea, normal ppl wont pay much for it.
In montreal, there are some videogame specialty shops who sell Atari's for 100$, so I'd hang on to that if I were you! It's got all that retro appeal, apparently. Favorite games of all time: RPGs: Xenogears (absolute favorite, PS), Chorono Trigger (SNES), Final Fantasy 8 Fighting games(arcades): Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter Third Strike, Rival Schools 1, Naruto (Narutimite Hero), (but I hate Capcom vs SNK, SNK Chaos, all the SNK games in general, and basically any 3d fighters, with the exception of rival schools). Pocket Fighter was interesting, but doesn't really count. Action: Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2), Shinobi (PS2 200x release, not the original) Just for the damn funness: Viewtiful Joe, Katamari Damacy (you should really try this one) Sports: NBA Street Volume 3 (PS2), Super Dodgeball (Nes), World Cup Soccer (Nes, by the same people who made Super Volleyball) Strategy: Final Fantasy Tactics (PS), Warcraft 3 (frozen throne, PC), Rainbox Six 3 (I don't consider this game FPS, PC) FPS: Doom (the very first one scared me silly when I was like 10 years old) Quake Arena (PC), Halo(PC), Duke Nukem 3d(PC)
Looks like I"m the only one who plays japanese games Heh.. My PS2 needs to be re-modded... So no video games for a while :crying::crying::crying:
Lol, well, if it helps, all the Street Fighter games I have are in Japanese, and I also play Naruto games, lol... the only kinds of games where you can survive without being able to read.
i would play japanese games, but i cant read them :crying: and my PS2 isnt modded so cant really play import games. japan has the best games
My first console? One of those old Nintendos....my cousin sold it to me for a penny because he had two, and upgraded to N64.. Let's see...I have a PS1, PS2, and X-Box now... I know someone who played Sakura Wars on Sega Saturn in japanese--- he had a 500 page translation manual to go along with it.
thats hardcore gaming, im not really a gamer anymore. my PS2 normally just sits there for when my friends come over. the only game i play frequently is counter strike.

I do. I have an Xbox360 but since the '3 ring of death' appeared, I went out and bought a PS3 recently and Fifa2009 is a beauty. Recent games that I have completed on the Xbox are Gears of War2, Call of Duty4. I am stucked and have basically given up with Deadspace (asteriods section) - pity because Deadspace is a very good game.
Too many to mention down the years but I'm doing Fallout 3 at the mo', though quite sporadically as I'm spending more time on *Cabal Online. The last game to utterly impress me before Fallout 3 was Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare - Crysis might be the best looking technologically but story-wise and gameplay is far superior. *Speaking of which, anybody else here on Cabalsea?
