Looking for Playing Partner/s in West London
I am an intermediate player, love the game and enjoy playing singles and doubles at any level. I am looking for playing partner/s (m/f) in West London - Chiswick, Richmond, Isleworth, Brentford, Hounslow etc., for evenings and/or weekends. I also play badminton with my son (he's 14) at Dormer's Wells in Southall every now and then, so we can make a pair if needed
I can also play at Seymours Leisure Centre in Paddington/Marylebone (near where I work) at lunchtimes or just after work, I already have a game there once or twice a week with workmates ...
I used to be a member at Horsham Badminton Club (not a league player ) and do evening classes, but I like consistent court time and am happy to play with partners of any standard, so if you are looking for a game or a playing/practice partner then please give me a shout at firstname.lastname@example.org, thanks

There is a club at Edgware Road, about 5 mins from the tube station that meets on Sunday mornings, from 9:30 to about 1 pm. Varying standards, about medium club to low league I'd say. A few beginners too.
Four courts, usually quite a lot of court time as not many players, can play singles after about 12 pm.
Play with good feathers, £5 per session. Ask for Paul or Siu (a guy).
I think I played Horsham in the Middlesex League a couple of times, must have been home matches though because I've never been to Horsham. Do you know what division they play in?

Thank you David - do you please have a contact telephone number, e-mail or actual address for the club? I don't remember which league Horsham were in, sorry ... and I'm still some way from league standard

In response to David's comment
Check out the other thread I posted about the "friendly club in London".
If you can't find it, contact me on email@example.com
We play every Sunday morning between 9am and 1:30pm. The "Westminster Hall" is located at the bottom of Crompton Street off Edgware Road.
My other post provides a link to Streetmap so you can find it easily.

Thanks for the message! I found your other thread and it sounds good. Is it okay to come and try it out for a week? I'm on holiday for a fortnight so maybe around the start of September ...
