I took my racket to a store in Calgary... Whats....and Ski. They broke my MP33! They didn't even like say they would repair it! I walked into the store and said 'I'm here to pick up a racket' and the guy was just like 'No your not' and proceeded to show me my racket that he broke! Normally i get players to restring my rackets, that guy just lost my business today and I've been going there for years.

    Man, that's sucks.

Another reason why I'm going *right now* to pick-up a stringing machine.

    Good luck getting a replacement.

No offense, but before we start to finger point the stringer, let's see how the condition for the racket is. If decent, more likely could be the stringer's fault. However, if it suffered enough clashes back then, it might just meant the life span is over, especially if the tension is high.

should've asked for replacement...happened to me too when i went to sportchek. Good thing it was only cheap carbonex they broke, the manager gave me the new one although it wasnt exactly the same model. I was happy enough. Now if i wanna get restringing, i'll just go to the most reputable store

the stringer should have seen the condition of the racquet, most racquet shops and stringing shops take pre caution. they will check your racquet. and if they can string it. then good for you. if they cant they will give you baCk the piece how it came to them. but if the racquet they have strung for you breaks when you are playing. then. it's your problem. ;)

Surely as long as the racket wasnt in a terrible state to begin with, which should have been noticed by the stringer i think, its nobodies fault but his, and he should either replace it or reimburse you.
I heartily suggest sending some of your larger friends to argue your point with him ;)
