hi. Anyone interested to play badminton this thurs at tampines west cc from 7pm to 9pm? Court 2. There will be 3 gals playing...hope to get 1 or 2 more pple to play doubles.
I wish I could. I would be at Tampines West CC between 8-9.30pm but that's for Japanese lessons. :crying:
tampines west cc Oh..well..it all got to depend as currently there are three of us and if more pple, the less cost will be. the court per hr is S$5.25 and 2 hr is S$10.20.
the gender doesnt matter much.. but eh age group also will somehow depends the kind of play.. ya know? the way old folks (not saying you people) and young ppl play is different to a certain extent..

old folks cant more so fast, but they are experienced, they rather you smash at them and they happily lift to you again. when lobbed, they will lob back cost its too tiring to smash(and the partner if is another old folk will not move up front to cover for him!), they rather you smash, but they hate it when you move e shuttle all over the court, cos gotta move a lot.they prefer a practical game plan. younger players tends to be more advanturous and try all kind of shots. they wont lift for you to smash but rather prefer to move you around.they dont really care if the game plan is practical but their shot must look good. ( like very tight cross nets or a short flick at netting position. the middle group usually plays a mix of practical and more movement game cos they are still in the IPPT bracket and need to mantain fitness!!and they usually don care hoe the shot looks as long as it help to win a point. just my observation from playing w ppl of different age groups
forgot to add.....some young fella plays like old folks liao...cos ful of injuries everywhere right irwan? haha eh you are still in Singapore or enjoying life in australia liao?
