Super Grap is supposed to be an over grip, if you are taking out your original grip, you should get replacement grip, which is thicker.

some people like the feel aspect of a single overgrip layer on the wood...
i have two layers on one of my racquets and i seem to like it.

I noticed the whole roll of yonex supergrap is connected to each other; do I have to cut it once I'm done applying?

not really. just unwrap the supergrap away from the roll and you will see three separate overgrips. Im not sure about the big roll. Im talking about the small roll that only has 3 grips.

    question

Just a question about the wrap...

im left handed, and my original grip is grapped for right handed people... like i dont know, it's turning downwards to the ... right. (when i look at the racquet right side up) I wanted to wrap an overgrip to it, should I wrap the overgrip to make it turn down the left side... or should i just take everything apart and do a replacement grip turning down to the left too? sorry if this is confusing... haha I suck at explaining stuff... but what Im basically asking is if the overgrip is thick enough to make me not feel the weird other direction original grip...?
or does it not matter and wont affect me in any way?

It won't make much difference either way. Take it from me, I am a leftie as well. The grip is there to ensure you don't throw your racquet away when you swing.

i'm a lefty too, but i don't think it'll make a difference...i just go with whatever the grip is like. i don't think you can change the direction of the grip can you? cause the grips are usually tapered in a certain direction at one end forcing you to go in that direction. the only way i can think of changing the direction would be either starting from the top down or bottom up...but i think most people got bottom up...so i think you're forced to go the right-handed way...sorry...not too sure....no grip for me to check right now...:p

But only one side is has the adhesive end. Do you have any pictures to explain what you mean? It would be great if I could flip it over because I'm a lefty too :)

Yes you can use the other side of the overgrip. Although it doesnt have that nice feel of the fresh overgrip, i dont really mind it. I use it when the other side of the grip gets too dirty as my hand is super sweaty!

You know, you can cut the overgrip such that it tapers the other way, then apply thin 2-sided tape to the tip. Voila! Now you have an overgrip that can be wrapped for lefties. It's not rocket science. :)
