Just wondering how's the environment? Does anybody know one another? Do people play with their own group? I'm interested to join but I dunno anybody else that goes there.

I wanna play with intermediate to advanced people so i can improve, but i haven't found such a place. I usually play at bonsor, sfu, BCIT, cameron, brittania, guilford and most of the time the level of players are more like intermideate beginners...

    Thanks

    Djiban,

You need to read more of those old threads on Canada West subforum. We have discussed about the club environment many times. Basically it's like drop-in at community center except 10 times more cliquey. You need to have your own stock of decent feathers or you'll be stuck with newbies (yes, we do have them as well:D ). And you need to demonstrate your ability to prolong the rallies beyond the three-shot rally. Can't just come in and get into games with good players unless you can keep up with their pacing.

I believe there's a waiting list for membership in VRC at the moment, so the next best drop-in would be Collingwood drop-in (advance players only) on Sunday morning. Search the forum for more details.

Why not drop by VRC and have Badrad give you the special treatment that all newcomers desire? Guaranteed satisfaction or money back from Badrad himself ;)! Joking . . .

It consists of an hour of one-on-one drills with Badrad. It's quite an experience. Just ask LB :D and Kwun ;).

I'm a member, about one year will get you in. That's the waiting time. I'd say the environment is fairly nice, people are very nice to one and another, though there are some ass**** who i won't mention their names :p, that like to be all gangster when your doing shots instead of playing a game.

"Treatment"? What? Just go there and go up to the main office and tell them you want to sign up to be a member. There's lesson courses too.

    forum surfing again....haha.

isnt cambie daytime usually full now?
its 11:45-2:30 everyday. me and my friends usually show up there at 2 to watch the games and wait for youth dropin at 2:45. i think from the last little while i've been there its either full or near full. it helps to get there at like 11:10 to reserve ur spot.

allensia and Djiban it wont kill to wave once in a while. i'm the ugly kid dat carries a green FORZA bag while running around in white bdmt shirts and jeans XD.
