    Asides from Rest, Ice, Compress, there really isn't much you can do for injuries but give it time.
    You can take an anti-inflammatory to reduce the swelling and pain though.
    If your looking for a quick fix, I don't think you'll find one, sorry to say.

    Remember: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

    Take steps to prevent this injury from happening agian in the future!

    Similar. Tennis elbow pain is on the outside of the elbow. Golfer's elbow is on the inside. The cause (of the pain) is the same, they're both a form of tendonitis.

    You can Google "golfer's elbow" and come up with many excellent resources.

    Sometimes these problems occur with holding the racquet too tightly for too long during games.

    Can someone help me with my arm pain issues. I play for about 4 days a week for about 1.5 hrs each session (doubles) and get severe arm pain. It increases over 4 days till a point where I need to get off the courts for a few days and then come back and play. The pain is in the upper arm mid way between the elbow and the shoulder joint. Sometimes it get so severed that it becomes diffficult steering a car with that arm.

    I warm up for at least 10-15 mins before playing. Play on a wooden court with "Ashaway Denver Shoes". Use a Wilson "n85L (85 gms) strung at 18 pounds BG65 (reccomended by the manufacturer)".

    Any suggestions?

    Take a rest and try to ice the sore part. Nothing much you can do.

    Also, you might wanna check your form with a coach. You're too tense when executing your shot and using way too much arm strength to hit the shuttle. Proper form should involve getting behind the shuttle and hit it with your whole body... meaning throwing action with body rotation into the shot. Your swinging arc should not be too wide, especially when driving the shot. Best to correct it sooner rather than later as it won't get any easier afterwards. As your string tension is very low, I would rule out the racquet.

    This may help, keep the arm/elbow warm when you play. To do this:

    1) Before playing, use a sports creme and thoroughly rub into the problem area;

    2) Next stretch out your arm muscles;

    3) Wear an elbow brace (I do) like this one:

    4) After playing, rub more sports creme and stretch.

    Hope this helps. :D
