Backhand Crosscourt drop

    hi all i was wondering how you guys do the crosscourt backhand drop..i'm having difficulties positioning my racquet face crosscourt with the "backhand grip"...or so i think.. so how do you guys do it? thx

    protonation of forearm + snapping wrist in the anti-clockwise direction helps if you are a right hander ;)

    use the following grip

    (your backhand grip + forehand grip ) divided by 2

    i.e. rotate the backhand grip towards forehand grip a little bit.

    to do backhand drop.

    You can get better angle I think :)

    Wouldn't it work if you just turn your body more towards the net while dropping?

    Well if u're using the back hand grip even if you turn ur body toward the net u wouldn't get the angle needed to do a crosscourt drop
