I want to improve my foot work. I have read some things on it, but is there any exercise or drills to work my foot work better?

Hello DudeinBlue. There's a forum on video sharing here. Here's the link to download of a video on footwork drills.
It's actually quite intriguing to watch. Approximately 39mb so it may take a while if you're using dial-up. Hope this helps. You'll be a better man on the court when you're done watching it. Off the court, well, it really doesn't help though. Hehe. Enjoy!

I herd of Shadow Drills and not sure how it works.
Is it when you clear it then run up to the front then flick it then run back to clear it again?

Good footwork is the same in almost every sport, be it badminton or soccer. The fundamentals of good footwork are based on these 3 pillars-stay on the balls or toes of your feet at all times, your feet must be sprung at all times (just like having springs on your feet), and maintaining your balance when returning the shot. Fancy footwork alone is useless when your legs have no springs. Having springs alone, without regaining or maintaining your balance when lunging for a tight return, will see you fall flat on the floor. To use the springs in your feet properly, you must first move in the opposite direction before proceeding in the direction you want to move to go. Just watch how a 100 metres sprinter shoot out of his starting block. Do you know why there are two starting blocks for the sprinter's two feet? Yes, he pushes backwards to catapult himself foreward.

Adding to Taneepak's point about having legs like "springs"....
Even if your footwork skills are excellent, you won't be able to move quickly unless your legs are strong. Strong legs are the foundation of fast footwork.
I cycled every weekday for 3 weeks, for five miles in moderately hilly countryside. It's a modest amount of exercise, but at the end of that period I noticed a massive change in my speed about the badminton court. I felt like I could fly
But then I stopped cycling (work, life, other lame excuses). And of course, I was back to my usual mediocre badminton.
Exercise. You'll be amazed how much difference some regular cycling can make.
