I've seen her name come up on some good results in the last year with her partner Thomas Laybourn, but never actually saw her play until a few days ago. She has got one hell of a smash, with a really long, fluid action and she's a tall lefty which adds some extra disguise. I think she could give Huang Sui a run for her money in the power stakes. I'm surprised she hasn't got better results in women's doubles. Maybe it will take a couple of more years on the tour. Any other women players who are known for exceptional smashes? Gu Jun comes to mind, but retired now unfortunately....
