I love it! What a thrill for the kids. And (I would guess) at National Stadium too. Hey some of them have potential

No LYD, cause the event seems happening in KyungSang Province, which is southeastern area of Korea peninsula, where the regional team of LHI and LJJ belongs to.

LYD's hometown is just west of the province - CheoLa Province.

Hi I am new in this Korean Forum. Can someone post some pic of Jun Jae Youn and her plan please? I adored her ever since she won the Korean Open in 2004. Watched her very closely in her pre-Olympic tournaments and the Bejing Olympics, but had not heard from her since then. Thanks.

Sorry, she retired already and maybe is in the final stage of her Ph.D. course.

Hi, does anyone knows why hwang ji man have not been participating in tournaments recently? he seems to be taking a rest.. with lee jae jin back in action recently, i really hope they would pair up again for man doubles..

Oh too bad for us Jun Jae Youn fans, but am really glad that she has another career to work to. Any more details on her PhD and her previous major? I am sure that there is a lot of details on the fans site that an earlier message linked to. I have gone through all the pages there, but unfortunately I cannot read Korean so not much success.
In another thread about Boonsak Ponsana I know that he was a full time law student playing world class badminton. But Jun Jae Joun is a PhD candidate! Amazing!

It appears to me that she is such a low-key person that not much is known of her outside of the Korean-speaking circle (at least to me). Any pic, fans material, will be greatly appreciated. Please do not let such a great star fade from the sky so quickly.

Yeah, there are many doctors who were the best badminton players of Korea.

JJY is now a professor of Sports University in Korea.

yup, it seems that her injury is not yet fully recovered. So, no chance to catch her in mas open then
