    Hi all!

I just wanted to say thank you for your support here at the worldchampionships in Anaheim. You definately inspired me to play my best here and it's great to see how badmintoncentral has grown to a big crowd now. Hopefully, this will develop further with the succes of Tony and Howard.

About 20 times I was stopped by one of you guys and you should now that I'm always proud of that and don't hesitate to do that next time.

Hope to see you all soon either here or if you go watch another tournament in some part of the world.

    Kind Regards

    Jonas

    hello JR!! :D

On behalf of your fans from The Philippines, congratulations on continuing to be one of the BEST badminton players in the WORLD!! :D We here in Manila are still hoping and praying that you'll be in the next (if there's one in 2006) MVP Cup. We can't wait to see you (and Lars) show us your style of world class badminton.

Also, I would like to apologize for all this rather offensive talk of "conspiracy". The Head Coach of our National (Philippine) badminton team is a friend of mine (Martin Araneta), so I have an idea of how much hard work and SACRIFICE you do in order to get where you are right now. You're one of the best badminton players in the world. No one, especially not rumor mongers, can take that away from you.

Good luck always in all your tournaments and endeavors. :D God bless!

    Hi JR!

thanks for always giving us BC forum members your time, thoughts, and opinions. we really appreciate it.

i have a question about the WC MD quaterfinal match between bach/gunawan and eriksen/hansen. the lady comentator was saying that the danish pair wasnt medicaly fit... that they were under some sort of medication. is this true?

    just wondering

    thanks

    Hi JR!

It was good finally getting to meet you. Like I said before, thanks for taking the time to post in these forums and interacting with the fans. It means a lot to all of us! I forgot to get a picture with you though, but then again I wasn't exactly allowed to. :( Good luck in future tournaments and in everything else!

    -BoboTheBadder

P.S. Your predictions for the possible winners of the MD were completely wrong. :p

JR, I stood practically next to you outside the men's room on the concourse as you tried to send a text message on Saturday (Friday?) afternoon at the end of the afternoon session. Then a couple of ladies arrived and one of them gave you a kiss on the lips. :p

Anyway, good show at the WC last week. I must admit that I didn't cheer for you and Lars when you played Candra/Sigit, but a good work nevertheless wrestling the 2nd set from them after being down 5-10.

agree. JR is always very friendly approachable. i talked to JR extensively in Singapore and briefly during the WC last week. it felt like talking to a friend instead of a famous badminton player...
