    Unhappy another begginer question

this is another sensible question, I think, about the badminton racket. I already know what 3u,2u means. this pertains to the weight....then there is this code pertaining to the type of grip....what bothers me is the flex. what does it mean when you say medium flex, hard flex, superflex..... does this mean that the shaft bends upon impact....if so what flex is needed or is best for certain action on the racket?
can some clear things up for this newbie...thanks again

its all personal opinion. some ppl like flex shafts so that they get a better snap to their shots. some ppl like rigid shafts. http://blacknight.ca/ go to this site and click on "turboflex." they have a pretty good diagram showing the flex and contact point of when you hit the bird.
