feather or plastic

    i could only get plastic shuttles at my local "sports" shop a couple of months ago. what sort of choice is that? :(

    I prefer Feather because it's (to me) faster than plastic and more fun. Our High School League plays with Plastic beacuse it's cheaper by the dozen and last longer than feather.

    You actually think feather s faster for you..? IMO...I think it's a bit slower...When I play with nylon birdie, I notice it's actually faster. But I can't say your wrong since everyone has a different thoughts about it. And I also think nylon is easier for me to control my shots, my placements were much better than feather, even my friend noticed. :D But feather birdies are for professional, I am planning to practice with feather soon.

    I think that feathers are much better than plastic but i can play with either.
    I think that plastics are faster for a longs distance than feathers, feathers seem to slow down throught the air unlike plastics.
    But i hate smashing plastics because they always seem to go out the back of the court, i have to adjust my technique to keep them in the court.
