I read somewhere that the IBF is setting down some standards on clothing and names on back of players shirts for the 2004 Olympics. For example, the name on the player must match the name on the score card. Doubles players need to dress in the same colors or at least color-coordinated so that they are seen as a team. They are also required to have a secondary color scheme in case the opponents have the same color scheme.
Re: Clothing & Names standards for Olympics 20 That's not too surprising. In the past some tournaments organizers dictated that players wear all white, and that color on the outfits including logos not to exceed 10% of the total area. (Like as if someone was to really measure). At the upcoming BC Winter Games that my daughter is competing, she is allowed to wear either white shirts, or the color of our zone (light blue).
