Just covered a send-off press conference here in Manila. Manuel V. Pangilinan (affectionately known as MVP) is sponsoring the Philippine team to the Chinese Taipei Satellite championships. In his speech, he confirmed that there will indeed be an MVP cup part 2 (supposedly with Peter Gade and Kenneth Jonassen joining team europe) and that there will be an ALL NEW PHILIPPINE OPEN Championships come march-april 2006.
