I would also say that his speed on court is excellent. What I really like is his tremendous elevation when hitting a jump smash, very dangerous. I watched the bronze medal match in athens against Boonsak Ponsana and the TCup 2004 against Gade

Sony excellent at the net! Not as agressive in attacking compared to Taufik...
But his defence is definatly one of the best!! :D

hehehe that makes perfect sense because sony doesnt seem like an aggressive kinda guy he is so sweet and quite and lovable, i guess he keeps his cool and remains calm....................god that is so attractive in a man  :D ;)

but obcouse he is no wuss either he is playing a tough sport after all and the fact he can control a aggresive guy like taufik.........thats even more attractive *sigh*

Sony is a control freak on court with no disrespect intended, but that is what he does best. He controls the pace of the game and moves the opponent around so well to create one hit kill opputunities for his smashes. If you classify players into categories, Peter Gade (especially when younger) is an attacking player while Sony is the control type.

yes i guess i am in love with him.......:( ..........,
but i am going to keep this sony stuff to a minimum from know on even though its going to be really really hard , there may be people in this forum that may not like me blabbering on about him all the time
as for his skills wow i really do need to concentrate more on the games and the players strongest skills and weaknesses

You'll be happy to know he's through to the semis of the ABC. Beat Boonsak in 3 sets :)
