I bought the RSL X1 Diamond limited edition racket. While the product catalogue listed the shaft as extra stiff, I find the same to be extremely pliant. I immediately noticed the difference aftyer using my other racket, an AT800Off. I do find the X1 easy to make drives and accurate drop shots but power is definitely lacking. Any comments on this would be appreciated. :) :) :)

actually, what I bought was the edition where you can use it for playing. the edition with the actual encrusted diamonds and which comes along with a silver case costs about P40,000.00 Phil. pesos (about US$800).

You buy and play a racket in US$800...................................................

    So rich you are....................................................

If possible, I would like to see the close up of the diamond.

Beware the diamond will come out after pro-longed used, all people in the court may be waiting for that moment and try to pick it up immediately. :D

I had two X1s and it's an excellent racket. It's definitely not as stiff as an AT800-OF. I would rate the X1 as medium stiff to stiff. I found the racket to be strong in all aspects, it was just a tad bit head light for me so I sold them.

The X1 definitely has power, I think you just need to use more wrist snap to make use of it. :)

I would say the racket compares favorable to the Yonex rackets. It reminds me of a NS7000 with a tad bit less speed but more power.

The X-1 is definitely a very good racket. If for less than $100 USD in the Philippines, it is, IMHO, the best bang-for-the-buck racket currently available. :D

It is more expensive than AT700, MP100 and MP99. Just a little bit less than AT800 and NS 7K and 8K in HK.

Here is a link to a shop here in the Philippines that sells the X1:

    http://www.tobys.com/prodspec.asp?Prod_ID=1017

    PhP1 = US$55

Too bad that they do not sell their products online. The prices some of you guys mentioned are very high!

    Errrr... 5,410PhP = ~$98.85USD not $55USD.

    Regardless, that's still a great price. :D

In Malaysia you can get the racket between RM220 to RM250 depending on which outlet you get it.

What's RM? RM = MYR? If so, then that's ~$58.25 US, an incredible deal.

If so, I would be interested in purchasing 10 of them. :D

rather, I would be more interested in the box... only if they cut off more spaces on the foam that should acommodate a tube of shuttles!
