    tomorrow 9 sept 2005, at national sport day celebration, the president of Indonesia,himself, will put the medal, called "Bintang Jasa Adi Manggalia Karya" which is the highest sport honour on taufik's chest

    yea! awesome, in fact i was listening to radio this morning and they asked the listeners to send their fave sport and sport idol via sms,and well, most of them said it was badminton and their idol was taufik, and the radio station decided to have him in an interview,,gosh, but i didnt listen to it, since it was then that my car arrived at school,,,,

    i wonder what's taufik's opinion about that.:confused: Do u know what's his opinion? hoping that after receiving the medal he won't be arrogant. i read that news on the news paper yesterday but they didn't put taufik's comments.

    Besides Taufik, there are 6 badminton players who got similar award (taufik's the highest)... Nova and Lilyana got Parama Krida Utama, while Luluk, Alven, Flandy, and Eng Hian got Parama Krida Madya... Bintang Jasa Utama is the highest award, Parama Krida Utama the 2nd, Parama Krida Madya the 3rd, and the 4th is Parama Krida Pratama... Anyone know why Candra and Sigit didn't got those awards?

    i read on the news paper yesterday about his award, and taufik proudly said : "this award of course will motivate me to become better"

    yeah ! what happen to Candra wijaya and sigit, they either received one before or something really screw up in their selection process..

    but maybe because they didn't get the WC gold? so the officials don't think they should have one ?

    yes, agree with you, if only base on WC gold, then they shouldn't get also. Even Candra/Sigit got silver medal in WC while they only managed get bronze/QF.
    Not even counting on the title that they got before WC.
    Unless Candra/Sigit have got it last time, anyone knows?

    maybe it's like this, they didn't get the gold this time , so they can't have
    the highest prize , but the others are not suitable for them (cause they are too good) , so maybe the officials are just waiting for the right time to give them the highest prize ,maybe next time they get a WC gold?

    yeah , a little sad, but i can't see anyone other pair in indonesia that can take there place , and WC will be held next year too, they still have chance:)
