Has anyone tried out Gosen's Nanocubic strings? Sound kinda interesting... http://shuttle-house.com/All_New_info_Top/All_new_Info_E.files/BS900.html
Nanocubic string Hi, Interesting item. Do Yonex have this string in Singapore or Malaysia? Love to hear comments from BC members. Thanks. Lee
Er, it's a Gosen string, not a Yonex string Sounds like more pseudo-scientific nano-nonsense to me. No idea whether the string is any good.
wonder if the strings as easy break as the yonex nanospeed racket.....anyway, Bay came up with new string call Bay62....suprisely gd...
Nanocubic string Hi, Sorry for the mistake earlier. Anyone tried this Gosen nanocubic string before?Any comments? Hi Silver-, Is this Bay62 from USA? What do u mean surprisely gd? Do u mean it is more durable? or better repulsion, etc? Thanks. Lee
Yes, it is from USA i believe. To me the repulsion is as gd as bg 85, durable...i not so sure... and to me when i smash...god i love tat impact + sound.... overall a gd string to me and cost $14 only
Nanocubic string Hi Silver, what is the gauge of the the string(Bay62)? How long this string lasts? Where is it available? Thanks. Lee
I have that Gosen BS-900 string sitting on my desk (for a quite while) , so far I haven't have the chance to try it out yet. Hopefully I will have time to test it this coming weekend.
ya, nano is such a hot word these days. I won't be surprised if yonex come up with 1 exception that yonex has so many strings out there now How to come up with one that play different than the current bunch
i agree that Nano is a hot word nowadays. I wont be suprise if he hear some nAnoPhones coming up too. I hope the nanostrings will last longer and give you extra feel and touch.
I can't quite make out all the text in the link I originally posted at the top, but it SOUNDS like it's got good feel and touch... can anyone translate the little 6 point ratings chart?
Well.. Short summary: Its name is also BS900. It's 0.70 gauge goldbrown (bronse) colour (looks quite nice).. It's really really good durability, and it seems to hold tension extremeley well..repulsion is ok.. But not as good as thinner options like BG80,BG66Sharp. There isn't much structure on the surface so it doesnt "grip" the shuttle that much on spinning/slices (which would be my major gripe).. Gosen Nanocubic is 0.70, Yonex NBG95 is 0.69 .. I usually prefer thinner strings.. I am puzzled why Yonex and Gosen don't use this technology on 0.68 or even 0.65 gauge strings.. Thats where durability is needed even more (at least for me)... /T
Ahhh, Bluejeff can do every BF'er a favour by translating what he wrote in Badminton Republic into English .
I was going to recommend people to use the babel fish online translator to read my posts in chinese, however, I just realized how bad babel fish is in translating Chinese->English!! For example, with babel fish translation, "BlueJeff" became "Blue color outstanding husband", and now I am really speechless!!
