lol, yup, ur right. However, most power to weight ratios comparison are reported as dry weight. If we add on a 150 lb person, that ratio would drop to around 0.17 for this bike and ~0.27 for the ferrari

me too if i go pure dirt riding. However, i would buy a scale down version of one those FX bike for city commuting, like 85 cc since 11.5 hp more than suffice. Weight might drop down to 90 lbs too. Anyone who can mass produce it and sell them for less than 1.5k will be rich. An exotic mountain bike(human powered) can cost 2-3k already. This pit bike 4 stroke 125cc 7hp only cost 1400 USD retail

nah......that isn't my cup of tea cooler. it just look like a bike with a air-con!!!! which is a bit ugly! don't really care about the noise though. so, i still prefer the one with a traditional touch! like those with a kick start gasoline powered engine.

yes, at lease one privately owned dirt course in the new territories (rural area of hk). for me, if i got some money. most likely, i will buy a street legal supermoto bike. (motocross bike with street tyres). it looks really sexy to me!

this thing is electric power. special reason: - 19 hp vs your lawnmower gas engine is 3.5 to 6 hp, electric mower ~ 1 hp. - electric means it's street legal (with lights add on) where as it's not with gas powered x-cross. - i rode a mtn bike before, it's no fun when the rider is tired. - can u maintain 40 mph on your mtn bike for 20-30 mile?
These electric bikes might be street-legal, but they wouldn't be allowed on trails here in BC where only people-powered bikes are allowed. Whistler/Blackcombe might allow them on their mountains but what's the point of having an engine when you can ride the gondola up. There's a company here in Vancouver that can convert an existing bike to an electric powered assisted bike. The conversion adds around 25-30lbs to the bike.
Nicolai from germany has some great bikes as well. Another brand: Merida since when is Giant a niche brand? Thought they were the biggest. Oh yeah there's also Koga Miyata from The Netherlands .
