Normally players find the backhand easier, because the arm position is more natural.

You don't have much choice; if the opponent hits to your forehand, you must play a forehand. You have a choice when it's directly in front of you.

It will be better to play the lifts with a flat racket face, rather than slicing. Slicing will be less accurate.

id choose my forehand. thats where u usually practice with, even if u get a birdie to ur backhand, you still want a forehand. it has more power and ur looking at ur opponent when ur hitting, so u can choose where u want to hit

Er, we're talking about lifts from the net here, not overhead strokes

haha, using forehand on the backhand side of the net:p same, I would use backhand, and I don't think I would slice it, it takes away from the time you get to get into defensive position, unless you are doing an offensive lift, it's still good to not slice so you get your opponent running

gahh!! ive been palying so long and i still cant get perfect net drops by slicing everytime :crying:. they always go too high or too low (like hitting the tape). i think its cause i slice too hard... about 3/7 of them are really good drops. anyhoo i find that i get better slices and better lifts with backhand, i think this aplies to everyone since it feels more natural and more comfortable then forehand.
