According to Danish media, former World Champion Peter Rasmussen was yesterday selected for the Danish Thomas Cup team.

(talk about being selected in the last minute)

Apparently, Niels Christian Kaldau is still injured - like he was during the National Championships - and this has left a space open for Rasmussen.

It will be very interesting to see, how Rasmussen performs.

Good for him. He played OK, but nothing like a champ in the recent Danish Championships though... It's nice to hear that he's back on the courts again though. Respect!

In which media article did you read Peter Rasmussen plays in Eindhoven? He is not on the list here (at least not until today)

I heard it on Danish radio and read about it in Danish newspapers.... I also read an interview wiht Niels Christian Kaldau who confirmed that is injured and therefore is not going to Eindhoven as part of the Danish Thomas Cup team... so.. there is no doubt about it...

Isn't it strange that he didn't play against Spain yesterday?

    Don't think so.

He played today in stead of Kenneth Jonassen.

    It seems they take turns.

Right you are! It took him only 16 minutes to whack Liam Ingram from Wales with 7-0 7-0 7-3... whoever that guy is...

Maybe he will be in for some better resistance later on...
