Some interesting trials(?). Mette Schjoldager paired up with Carsten Mogensen? What happened to Jens? JR and LP play mixed? And, of course, Minarti and Bambang! I wonder what keeps them playing. Some ex-internationals I know wouldn't come near a racquet much less pick one up and hit a shuttle with it.
Jens Eriksen didnt show up this time..probably rested. I guess the Danes want to try out some new mixed doubles pairings. Who knows JR and LP would form great pairs with their respective women partner. Anyway, they are they competing in the men's doubles anyway.
No, Yap has just confirmed last week that all the three second string players in national team (LeeTS, YeoKB & Krish) will stay. They are at least still good sparing partners to the rests. I seriously think that they should get some potential youngsters from Rashid's team before it is too late. The current gap between national team and backup team are tooooooooooo large.
