Kim Dong Moon's Future
Since he is already retired from playing. He is currently looking for opportunity to learn English and to share his knowledge of badminton to that country which he will be going. It means he is open to offers.
However currently he has been contacted by countries like US, France, New Zealand , Philippines and Singapore as well to be the coach for them.
And since IBF ( International Badminton Federation ) has already established IBF training centers in Germany, China and Bulgaria plus future plans of expanding training centers in USA and my country Malaysia. He has also been offered a position there as well.
But of course KDM's main focus is still to study English and Physical Trainning. Anyhow it will also be a great deal if he combine study and coaching at the same time.

Kim DM wants an academic career. So he will have finished his doctoral study by the end of this year. IBF already offered him a contract as a coach in one of the training facilities. As far as I'm informed except the US and Malaysian one every other facility in Germany, China and Bulgaria has got their own coaching staff. English is the official language in these training facilities.
It's also possible that Kim DM goes to an English speaking country, but it must be an offer from an academic insitute as he already mentioned.

Kim Dong Moon
For some of you who don't know who is Kim Dong Moon, he is a
double's specialist from Korea. Recently just retired from playing
professionally.
He is also 2002 and ( 2003 with Ra Kyung Min ) player of the year.
He was the doubles partner of Ha Tae Kwon. This tandem won the GOLD
in 2004 Olympics. They were one of the strongest doubles pair in
Korea and was one of the toughes doubles to play with around the
world.
Besides that , Kim Dong Moon was also a Mixed Doubles Specialist. He
partnered with Ra Kyung Min. This team as won 10 consecutive titles
in the year 2003. And both of them are considered one of the best
mixed doubles team ever. Both of them won the World Championship,
All England and other Major Opens.
Since he is already retired from playing. He is currently looking
for opportunity to learn English and to share his knowledge of
badminton to that country which he will be going. It means he is
open to offers.
From my recent contact from some people that i know in Korea who is
in the Korean Badminton Association, they told me that Phillipines
has been trying to get him as a coach here. However he has also been
contacted by countries like US, France, New Zealand and Singapore as
well to be the coach for them.
And since IBF ( International Badminton Federation ) has already
established IBF training centers in Germany, China and Bulgaria plus
future plans of expanding training centers in USA and my country
Malaysia. He has also been offered a position there as well.
But of course KDM's main focus is still to study English and
Physical Trainning. Anyhow it will also be a great deal if he
combine study and coaching at the same time.
Anyway we will see how it goes. He will definately be a great asset
to Team Phillipines if he can contribute in coaching the players
here.
