Lately i came across the brand Top Pro. Anyone seen it or used it and can comment on the performance of the racquets?
Hi, did you see it in Singapore? I came across this brand of rackets in Jakarta. Its marketed as an American brand but believe the rackets were developed by some ex-Indonesian players. I used to have the top two models in their range, cost ~S$80 each. IMHO they were value for money, have nice cosmetics and good quality control. Cheers
I saw them in JB....they have 9 models...may i know what are the models you have and why do you not have them anymore?
Remember what I have mention to you before !!!!!!! I would said the top of the model is Suprt Ti 300.
How is the performance of the racquets? Why is it you decided to change and what racquets are you currently using?
Hi, Gur. Yes ! I can offered you at SGD$90 (Include 1 small bag, grip & BG-66) This Super Ti 300 is currently the best model I've seen from Top-Pro. The shaft can be bend up to 40 degree eventhought I rated it as a stiff shaft. (Sorry, I have not take the picture when my friend do the demostration otherwise I can post and show to you guys) Specification : Weight : 84g (Without string) Frame : Muscle Power Iso Frame String Pattern : 22 Main & 23 Cross Max Tension : 28Ibs Cone : Almost similar to Wilson nCode series racquet cone but with contour for easy control. Characteristic : A bit Head Heavy (For me) Others : At the upper part of the shaft, there is an 1 1/2 inch woven finishing similar to Gosen Root Aermet series racquet (2nd kick point shaft) This Top-Pro brand is currently the 2nd best seller behind the well known badminton titan - Yonex at Jakarta.
I bought the Super Ti-400 and Ti-300 some 12 monthis ago (which were the top models) during my last trip to Jakarta. Was surprised to find that Toppro had an extensive range of rackets, the price range then was ~S$40-S$80. I had sold the rackets to my friends after testing because I had too many rackets. The 3U oval shaped Ti-400 was a no-nonsense racket. Either you like it or hate it. It has a stiff shaft and you have to use your wrist to generate power for this racket. IHMO its not suitable for 'arm players'. I beg to differ with LouisW on the Ti-300. The isometric shaped Ti-300 I played with was 4U and had a flexible shaft. Found it very light. A few months ago, I saw some demo Toppro rackets at Megah Sports at Taman Sri Terbrau Johor Bahru. I reckon Toppro will give Proace and Fleet a run for their money in Malaysia or at least JB.
So what racquet are you currently using then...if you would sell off the racquet i would assume that it is not good enuff for you.
Did you buy it? You selling second hand issit? The price is abit too high since lumix said its between 40 to 80...
Actually, I intend to get the Ti-300 for testing. As for the selling price quoted by Lumix, I would said you can't compare the selling from 2 diference countries. If I'm not mistaken, at the selling price of SGD$90 you only can get the ProAce old model racquet ~ Widebody 55 at 10/10 Bras Basah.
Huh...you intend to get it to test then sell it to me? I dont want second hand leh...like that might as well i buy then test then sell to you?
That owner of Mega Sport is my friend. Actually his retail price does not include string but since I helping him to promote this Top-Pro, he willing include the string for my buyer.
Wo...... I'm not that kind of person that doing such despicable trade althought I did sold some of my very mint condition used racquet to another forum member at vey low price.(Ex. Mr. Jansen [He bought a few racquets from me at a very low price] I intend to get the Super Ti-300 for my own use so please don't misunderstand the whole offer.
other available model of Top-Pro racquet in JB Later, I will post the selling price for other models for your reference.
So what racquets did you sell to Mr Jansen? And how low was the prices? Also what racquet or racquets are you currently using?
