I'd say MP-28 is another really great beginners racquet, for people wanting to get good at badminton.

Isn't MP23 supposed to be "even balanced" ????

Yup its heavy, so i guess its a good training racquet for beginners because you really need a lot of strength to use it. If you can play well with MP23, you can play well with any ISO racquet.

I find MP88 a whole lot easier to use than MP23, and yet gives me more power (head-heavy balance).

The MP23 is flexible slightly heavier racquet, even balance.
The MP28 is lighter than MP23 and is medium flex, even balance.

I have both racquets and find I generate more power with the MP23. Both racquets are great at the net + excellent control. MP28 is quicker to defend with due to the lighter weight.

My friend who has faster arm swing than me prefers the MP28. I think the MP23 is perhaps the more forgiving of the two but everyone is different!
