During the summer you should do one at the Talisman Center. If the coaches decide your good enough (only happened maybe twice ever) they will invite you to train at the glencoe with the national training center / high performance center. Also if you do well in tournaments the CWC calgary winterclub may invite you to train with them (happened once in the past 5 years). The best coaches are from the Glencoe and CWC.

I would have to agree with Eurasian =--(O) about CWC and Glencoe having the best coaches, but if you want to train talisman has some other badminton programs during the year one has already started but there are others that start after january and some of the coaches they get are rather good, when i was there during the summer had coaches like justin, kelly, etc (cant remember their last names but most are pro players) plus they also got some elite kids to help out. but if you just want like a skills camp (ladders, tarining skills, etc) i still say check out talisman. or you could always try and get noticed and then you might get asked to join some of the clubs in calgary could be a long shot though.

i might see if i can coach Talisman this summer. BTW Justin doesn't live in Calgary anymore, going to school out east. Brian now coaches at the Glencoe so I dunno if he will be able to do summer camps there anymore.

Iimagien most camps will be done by Greg Bury/Lindesy Smith. Marlon/Iain might help out Billy G time to time and I thought Brody Hilland was going to start doing the odd camp.

Ryan Legere might do the odd camp - he's coaching more these days.

I'd phone Greg at Badminton Alberta.

i think they invite more than just 2 ppl ever becasue i have a friend, Avish Makol, that got invited into glencoe he took out martian G, and mark johnston. I think they also invite more than just 1 guy into CWC too because i know i guy that i played with a couples time that got invited his name is mathias fong? heard of them?
