    That's just a direct translation from his Indonesian name "Heng De La" -- Hendra. I am not sure if he does have a Chinese name like Candra Wijaya or Tony Gunawan. The other younger generation INA shuttlers (Simon Santoso, Sylvinna Kurniawan) do not seem to have Chinese names as well.

    how come lots of Indo-chinese can't speak Chinese these days...parent not willing to teach or they just try to localized into Indo.......they should carry the tranditions like Liem Seiw King, Hartono etc....

    His Chinese name is "Si Meng", which is a direct translation from Simon. As far as I know, there's no mention of his "real" Chinese name, unlike Hendrawan, which is "Ye Cheng Wan".

    No, Simon Santoso does have a Chinese Name .. it's Lim xxx xxxsomething .. he told me once but i don't remember
