This is just my opinion. I actually like the strike at CBC to continue: www.cbc.ca The non-stop classical music from CBC Radio is so enjoyable. No more crappy talk-show programs :) !

I actually listen(ed) to their morning talk show on the drive to work ... much better than CKNW, in my opinion. Not much else on the AM dial.

Teacher's strike  ... Well that's nothing right? According to one spokesperson for the teachers federation(?), kids without school for 3 months will not affect their learning. So, also no problem with the teacher's strike as well...

Radio is so terrible these days =/ I just spend about 20 minutes each morning listening to 680 News and that's about it. I may turn to Oldies from time to time as well. Current music is not as great as it was years ago.

    WWCBRO,

Now, it appears that 3 months without badminton is not much of a problem also. Received notification from RBC, school will be closed if teacher strike continues. :crying: :crying:

Strike has already affected West Lu BC at Homma school. No play tonight. Damn! Went to Sunset instead and played for 2 hours.

They were just waiting for hockey to return so that they could milk their cash cow "Hockey Night in Canada". Now if only the teachers could do the same, there would be many happy badders around.

Yeah... Pity that they stopped the strike because of hockey and not what the union people wanted.

And I was just enjoying non-stop classical music! Helps me sleep and study quite nicely :)
