Looking for partners in San Diego

Hello,
I'm looking for people to play with in San Diego. There seem to be a few clubs; and many more "locations" to play in.. But none seem to provide partners to play with.. As in, once you are a member, you can use the courts.. but you have to find your own partners; there seem to be no organized times when people get together and play each other.. correct if I'm wrong, and tell me how to find players.. or if I'm right; I'd like to find partners!
I'm not that seasoned of a player; but I know my around, I'm pretty athletic and enjoy fast-paced and competitive games. Please give me advice on how to find partners
