Curious if anyone has tried SOTX shoes. The S-28 model looks nice.

    Hey there,

I have the S-28 and S-18, the shoes are very comfortable and good quality.
I would recommend trying a pair.:)

Just curious, what size shoes do you wear?
I have a Sotx JES900A size 9.5 autographed by Taufik, Peter Gade, and Lin Dan for sale. If anyone is interested, please message me.
I had it autographed at the 2005 World Championships.:)

    Thanks Viper,

Which of the two do you prefer? What are the main differences?

    Prefer the S-28

I like the s-28 better, color is ok.
Quality is the same on both, the S-18 seems to get dirty faster cause it has more white.

How's the sizing? Does it run true to size? Smaller? Larger?

Half the price, half the comfort.

Just kidding, they are actually nice.

The size is 1/2 size smaller than true size.

The shoes are durable, semi-comfortable, light weight, good grip on dusty floors.

Guys gotta get S-28 and gals should wear S-18.

I was once told 37 (more comfort) is an upgraded version of 18. Maybe consider it as well. ;)

What do you mean by "semi comfortable"? What's the standard for comfortable in your scale? Any particular shoe modle?

Also, how's the protection (e.g cushion) for SOTX shoes?

I'm wearing some sotx right now. The size difference really depends on what you wear normally. I'm a new balance shoe person so the difference to close to a full size for me (size 12). I got them for 40$ and they are pretty comfortable overall though a bit narrow for me. They just require a bit of breaking in, but otherwise they feel great for me.

I got my pair from www.badmintonsource.com which turned out to be a mistake for the better. They sent me the wrong pair so I got a 20$ discount off of them. Otherwise you can get them from www.ibuysports.com for 60$ish.
