Nano Speed 8000 Racket Cracked
Hi!
I have purchased a new Nano Speed 8000. On the very seond day of play the racket fell down and hit the floor on one side of the top edges. Because of which that side of the isometric shape lost its angle and then pushed out the other side of the top edge outwards. Now on the other side I can see a crack at the angle of the outward tilt.
My question is that is the Nano Speed so delicate. Rest of you using it what experiences you have with it.
Well it seems like a crack, But I hope its only the paint wash out of the upper layer.
Does any one know whether the inner core of the rim could be still intact.
My other question is that do I try to get the shape back by churning out the racket on the frame.
Basically I want to know that if I continue to play with it like this what are the chances of it further loosing the shape.
Or if I try to get it back to shape would that be a good thing to do or the racket could break.
Any clues to this would be highly appreciated.

My two NS8000 are holding up well despite some rough treatment, so in my opinion it's not a delicate racquet.
Dropping a racquet on the floor -- unlucky as it is -- is not what the frame is designed for. From your description your racquet is probably a goner, at least for any higher string tensions. You might lengthen the life of it by applying some two-component epoxy glue in the crack (reinforcing with carbon fibre strip or fibre glass is even better but might change balance slightly). I did this to my last cracked MP100, and although not in regular use, it's still OK more than a year later.

Not surprising to me. There have been numerous NS8000s as well as 7000s breaking. Just yesterday, two players clashed moderately and one player's NS went to Heaven (so to speak). If it was an MP, it would have just left a moderate chip.
Those of you with NSs that have no durability issues, count your lucky stars.

I agreed. People don't look to reasons 'before' they got their ns rackets. Next thing u know, their ns racket cracked because they pet them the wrong ways
