We'll finally have a full time badminton facility in Seattle area. The warehouse
lease is signed and remodelling started and the club is scheduled to open
    in November.

    The club will have:

    - 5 courts
    - wood floor
    - card key access (eventually 24/7 access)
    - convenient location (around I-90/I-405)

Check out the web site for membership infomration:

    Clinton,
Congratulations! I'm still looking for a suitable facility in Vancouver.

What are the drop-in rates? Might be in Bellevue during the US Thanksgiving weekend.

    Hi Clinton!

Will this facility be used in the 2006 WA Open?

    Cheers!

No, the 2006 WA Open will probably still be at ProClub, since there're only
5 courts at the new facility. We'll have the 2005 WA BCD tournament
at the new facility December 2-4th.

Winex, the drop in rate is $10. Let me know before you come, maybe
I can pull some string. Keep looking, you'll find one eventually.
Someone mentioned to me that Daryl Y. is openning another facility
in Richmond area with 18 courts, is this true ?

Yeah, it's called ClearTwo (first one, ClearOne). Haven't been there myself, but there was a tournament this past Thanksgiving Weekend.

Never mind. Found the location. C2 is only two buildings north of C1 on No. 3rd.

A quick update, after over 2 months of work/preparation, the gym is almost
ready. The top coat for the gym floor was finished yesterday and just in
time for the WA BCD tournament this weekend.

Instead of more traditional green, the wall is painted blue and the court clay red.
Will try to post some picture later.

To be correct, it's the Bellevue area, not Seattle.

I've looked into it, but not quite convinced about it unless there is special deals for school students, ie. UW. I've also mentioned it to one of the NW Badminton Association association people when I played at North Seatac Community Center playing there.

We are trying to organize a SUdirman Identical Team Event in OCBC sometimes this year. We would like to concentrate on the west coast region first. We are wondering if your club might have some serious junior players for the age groups of like U-22 and U17. You know the Sudirman Cup format right; it incorporates :
1 BS, 1 GS, 1 BD, 1 GD, 1 MX event. So basically you only need to have 4 players 2boys and 2 girls to make up a team. If so we would like to invite your club as well.
