Waste of money. In VN, I can buy a pair at the price of 3 dollars :D Like a piece of steel with prestrung string. Good for kids to play around.

i suggest you buy a more popular and probably better brand, try yonex for example you can start off with a muscle power 24, 28 like i did.
or another cheap one, but better dont purchase something you're not sure of. cus when i did that i ended up with a bird IN my first racquet. ahhh

    the good old days...

I suggest, if you are a beginner, trying a low end, 10-20 dollar Yonex Isometric or basic racquets.

The Isometric 20 VF should be around 20+/- I think. (http://www.badminton.net/cart/produ...d=153&osCsid=20d1721b7866c0e99718d9bcc7ce6e16) and it has a build in T-Joint and an Isometric head. I didn't have a build in T-joint as a first racquet, I had a bottom line wilson to pratice with then moved on to a Ti-7 Mesh.

I even suggested to my friends to get that one.

Well, if purchase a lower end racket, I don't think it's necessary to be yonex. For a beginner, as long as a racket is all graphite (not too heavy), and from a fairly reputable brand, then its good enough.

I know this is an old post, but I use a wish racket and it is not bad at all. I live in China (Xiamen) and a lot of people use them here since they have an office here. (Chen Long has used them.)

I think it's more a China brand and isn't exported much to other countries so it isn't well know. But they make solid rackets at a good price. For a beginner, not at all a problem and a good choice.

I broke my Wish racket today, after having played with it for 6 years. I'm not mad though; it was a gift from my mom when she visited Indionesia and according to her it wasn't an expensive racket. I had the Xtreme Light 005 and I enjoyed playing with it. It's a stiff, light weight racket, suitable for doubles and fast play. I used it as my backup racket next to my Yonex NS8000. At first, My Wish had a slight edge compared to the Yonex, but gradually my preferation did change. It was a very welcome surprise when I had this racket in my collection though and I played many tournaments and competition matches with it.
