hi there, my tension is running low (damn factory-stringing) and i wonder: should i string it today, and play tommorrow. or leave it in, play tomorrow, and tension it afterwards giving it 3 days rest.. wich, oh wich? (gonna do ns8k, bg80 21-22 lbs) another thing, shoudl I add 2lbs on teh crosses with my ns8k?
I think some are being cautious when it's higher tension. 22/24 is medium tension. String it, push the strings a bit with your fingers to help "set" the string bed. You'll be all set. P.S. I love BG-80.
i think BC members should show some sense responsibility in what they say and not blindly suggest some extreme tension without knowing the level of play for the target audience. in the worst case, it can cause premature racket/string breakage if job not done well and potential injuries if used improperly for a prolonged amount of time.
Wow, that's a huge jump in tension compared to what the user is used to!!! We are talking about trouble elbow .
welll...no... I didn't even buy this racket myself. and i like my ns8k...my dad will freak out if i tension it at 30lbs.... until i'm getting sponsored i wont string over 25... I'm just stratching teh surface on tension, so it's a good start..
