are badminton shoes the same as volleyball shoes?

    just wondering if badminton shoes the same as volleyball shoes?

    It depends on what brand you are talking about.

    Mizuno/Asics: No, they are separate lines
    Adidad/Nike/Hi-Tec: Peobably yes. They have only those "indoor" court shoes.
    Yonex: No volleyball Shoes.
    Wilson: same indoor shoes for their squash, badminton, and racketball lines.

    Could other BFers add some more brands?

    In general volleyball shoes are heavier than the badminton ones, but does provide more cushion, if from nameable brands.

    I use my SHB 99 MX's for badminton but as well for volleyball, i find they work great. No problems to this point, and seems to have everything a volleyball and badminton shoe needs...

    I use the Mizuno Wavelightening volleyball shoes for my badminton games. I think they work fine for me. I never really tried out the badminton shoes but I feel volleyball shoes will work just fine.
