Can anyone recommend good places to buy rackets in KL and JB? I know of a shop at Pertama which have good variety of rackets. But are there any others and any recommendatio of shops with good (well reasonable) prices? And any good ones in JB? Thanks
They are all still clustered in GF and FF of Pertama.There are about 20 lots, some have gone and new ones have sprouted. Sorry haven't been to JB for 4 years, never noticed any sports shops even then, although I've heard the social players there are even more fanatic than those around the capital.I think JB people buy from KL, maybe in Singapore, I don't think racquet prices different in Msia or Singapore as they all adhere to Sunrise Sports list price.
i forgot to mention,if you are looking for a shop just dedicated to Badminton, try the PRO shop of the Selangor Badminton Association Hall in Kampung Atap ( That's the area near Petaling St and Merdeka Stadium).They have the widest range I've seen and you also get the chance to rub shoulders with former internationals and up and coming juniors whilst there.
