Picking up an old hobby
I'm from S'pore and have dropped playing badminton since after my school days more than 12years ago. Last week, out of the mood my friend suggest that we go for a game.
Pull out my yonex bx802 and found the string all broken up, went to the store for restring, and it tooks 3 days!!! ( geeze in old days it took only 1 hour ). Look around for another racket and saw the "carbonex", came to my mine that that's what in my wish list long ago and can't afford it. Purchse a 15 and happily call my friend for a game. In my dusty bag was some 12 years old calton's power pro shuttlecock.
Now I must say that the game was pure "fun", but I must say that I'm rather disappointed with both the racket and myself. a carbonex in my mind was suppose to be the best, but the 15 is totally hopeless. As for me, my flexibility now slow like turtle
Things certainly change over time
