I hope XXZ can turn it around. I was just watching the WC2003 Final: XXZ vs. WCH and XXZ was amazing.

I wonder who Zhao Tingting will play with in mixed now. Maybe Zheng Bo.

Good news about Xie Xuanze and Zhou Mi. I was sure that Zhou Mi would be taken out of the team after her first round lost in the WC. Also, I thought Xia Xuanze was moving to Germany?

According to sports.sina.com.cn, Wu Yuyong and Zhu Weilun has left the national team.

Gong Weijie is now training in the MD squad, but still has a place in the MS squad!

    1. Wu and Zhu are the typical examples, as the top players only to be found under "big brothers' shadow". Wish them the best in the future.

    2. Why Gong is doing MD? I thought he's the #2 only behind Chen Jin in MS. No offense, but rumors say CHN selects MD, ONLY IF they have trouble to keep up with MS.

They were couple before SARS. During the SARS period, ppl in certain region (i.e. Beijing) are forbidden to go to work/school/travel on a regular base. Therefore, means ppl have a lot of more time to stay inside. As the pro althletes, I am pretty sure they have less training/tournaments to be assigned during that period, which means, more time to stay with each other. Also, Chen Lin is a good writer. In her work, she showed great sorrow to ppl who suffered with SARS, and great respect for ppl who fight with it. She has better understanding of life after this tragedy.

So, I am sure that period of time helped the relationship to speed up. ;)

Ahhhh, thanks for the info. It would have made more sense if you used this,
" " or ":p " instead of this, " ".

At the time it didn't make sense to me. :p
