The gyms in the Bay Area all seem to have slightly different floors. We were this weekend at Davis and it had the old style wood floors, and didn't seem that comfortable... which made me think that maybe there is some knowledge on what works and what does not work in floors in this forum.

    Let's see what comes out...

Do you like your floor? Is it kind to your knees? What is it? What is underneath?

I forget the name of the flooring system at Golden Gate, but I absolutely love it... no need to worry about diving or sliding on a knee to make a shot.

i like the special green/blue courts at lees...i think they're the same kind that pros use for tournaments...cause they have very good traction and stuff :D

unlike the ones in school gyms...cause they're supper slippery...therefore making it hard to play when i'm trying out for the school team

Get some F1 type rubber court shoes and you shall have the ultimate traction! :D Just a matter of getting the heat into the shoes for the rubber to be at optimum levels! =)
