I need some comments on titanium and musclepower rackets reviews. Which do you guys prefer? I'm really confused on whether to buy titanium rackets or musclepower series. We do not mention bout specify rackets 1st. mp & ti have the combined of Ti mesh+carbon. Actually i do not see titanium rackets being famous in market....
yes done it, but everyone comments are nt happen to be the same. compare it and contrust it... i have looked at the product reviews. Its 2 type we are comparing now so i doubt there is any review on this 2.
That's the point. Even if more ppl replied with their choices in this thread, u will only get more confused, as everyone still will give u their own choice. The thing to do is, try all the rackets you might be interested. Swing a racket for 5 min, can be more useful than spending 5 hrs reading 200 reviews.
Old news. Titanium and muscle power is old news. Nano Technology- Nanospeed, NanoPower, etc is in. Most Nano rackets are light and have lots of power, effective for both defense and offensive.
old news doesn't mean bad news right? with the recent trend(or seemingly) decline in the quality of production, and the yucky colors, many people are back to the old stuff again and, nanospeed is the only thing that yonex is making, its hard to judge other brands when we only see review of few people
Well there really isn't a great deal of difference as the MP frames use Ti and recent Ti frames use MP frames. Perhaps you need to consider the racquets individually?
Muscle power old technology is that why it is still more popular then Nano Technology i for one perfer Muscle Power i have just bought a New MP 99 today and i love it.
But in badminton central, it's Ti-10 this, Ti-10 that etc. Hardly a day goes by without Ti-10 being mentioned. It's even better than Yonex marketing And it's been repeatedly mentioned, buy the racquet that suits you, and not what Yonex marketing says you should buy....since you're in Singapore, I'm sure people in your regular group will have all types of Yonex racquets, why not borrow and try?
i strongly believe that the ti-10 is the only mentionable racquet from the Ti series whereas mp has mp88,99,100. I'm just mentioning the top racquets from each btw.
surely the ti-series is so old that the non-high end models are not being produced anymore? maybe that is why there is little mention of them. and this quesiton IMHO is a bit simple. just try out the racquets yourself? unless this is some kind of market research
Ti are too old to be mentioned. I can't find any thread on old titanum rackets, so i bring it up. anyway ti are more stiffer than mp. my friends all do not own titanium rackets, too bad can't try. If you put mp66, mp88, mp99, mp100 in your consideration, mp66 will be head light n long, mp88 too fragile, mp99 too stiff, mp100 a lot bad comments as in a modified of mp99 etc... theres not much more to put in consideration anymore.. :crying: It is also not the problem of trying, its the problem of choices thinking of the gd n bad points of each racket. We can't compare nano with these 2 series. Totally OFP.
I probably shouldn't mention too much about this, but Ti series is relatively new to Taiwan market. Especially, Yonex-Japan just decided to start to parallel-import many JP only products to Taiwan last month. This includes some hard-to-get items, such as Ti-2, 6, 7, along with JP BG-65P, 75Ti, CBG100 strings, and many other clothes and accessories. Yonex-Japan virturally "shocked" Yonex users in Taiwan a lot, although the supply of JP goods are limited.
Ummm... if you're saying that Ti rackets are too old to be mentioned, and you already seem to have definite opinions on the greater MP range, what exactly are you looking for?
According to you, Ti is 'too old to be mentioned', furthermore, none of your friends have Ti racquets for you to try. If that's the case, why bother asking whether you should buy a Ti racquet??? I assume they have MP racquets that you can borrow to try - based on the MP you have tried, what are your opinions? Anyway, what racquet you are using now will also influence how you find the racquets you borrow.. what racquet are you using now?
Personally, I prefer NanoTiMusclePower Technology. OK, sorry for tr0lling your thread but someone had to say it.
