Yonex will be coming up with a Commemoration Racket for Thomas and Uber Cup.
The racket will be none other than The Popular MP90 or in other parts in the world which is named MP99. However this racket will be only named MP90 and available ONLY in JP. The racket will be having a new color ( the same color like the Japan TC/UC shirt ) which is orange. This racket will be only available in 3U/G5. Recomended tension will be 17-22lbs.
Don't be too excited people. The racket will be available only next year around 1st quarter 2006.

I will try to post some pics of the racket when i have them.

Here is a picture of the racket on the drawing board. This may not be the confirmed designed. There might or might not be any changes once the full production of the racket is out. Enjoy guys.

    Thanks for the info Ants!

On my screen it doesn't look all that different. It looks a bit like the At800 OF...it would be cool if it stood out more. Maybe Golden colour ? :p

Of all the Yonex series, I have never use any of the MP racquets. Maybe its time to give it a try, MP90 being even balance and all. Lets hope the price would be the same as a regular JP MP90 and not like the Super Expensive AT700 Special Brand. And lets hope someone would be doing another "group" purchase when the time comes. :)

Regarding the price. Don't worry. It will be affordable for everyone. Most likely the price will be like the MP90 JP. Maybe a little more .

Woah nice findings ants! Will the MP90 have slightly design of the MP99?? The drawing you posted is NICE! Any changes to current 99? Such as: Control, Power, Weight, etc?
