guys, i m posting some pix that i took on semi-final and final day. this time, no more regular action shots. i m gonna post something else. they are "CLOSE UP SHOTS". enjoy! red
now off-beat pix. a pro photographer was telling me how to take close up shot during the hk open final.
yesterday cheung and i was explorering some pro players' weapons. we'd found that the grip of lin dan's racket was totally trashed. i thought lin would change a new grip every time before playing. but i guess i was wrong! cheung will tell u guys a little bit more about rackets of pro players afterwards.
lol.. That pic of Zhang Yawen is totally unlike the cute little gal we always see on court.. she looks more.. erm... older that way.. haha.. The guy beside must be Guo Zhendong..
alright guys. mission accomplished! those were my best shots of the hk open 2005! hope u all like it! u know, i've promised myself not to do that again in 2006. . that's a tough assignment! :crying:
Thanks for all the pics, they are excellent shots, especially the shots of Lee Chong Wei, Bao Chunlai and Lin Dan. Great work! It would be better if you have a few shots of Peter Gade but you really done a great job! Thanks
it's not his grip that's thrashed mind you! lin dan purposely wrapped only the bottom part of the grip so he'd know how to control and not hold the upper part of the racquet! it's to train himself not to hold too high.
that make sense. in fact, the stringer had talked to cheung about lin's racket but i didn't hang around on their conversation.
Our "unsung hero"....great job ...please do come back with all these excellent shots next year, we need you!!
nice pictures, very nice. If possible, more explaination, could be better. Especially, who's on the pictures. A lot of players I cannot recognise, except Lin Dan and Bao CL. Besides, using full name is better than just like zyw (this probably Zhang Yawen), it is difficult for me to figure out who are nw, ch, cy, cj, xx, ly, ... by the way, ly could mean Lee Yuan il, or Li Yu, or Li Yi, they are all top 50 players, even xx could mean Xia Xuanze, or Xie Xing, or maybe others. Thanks anyway
