Help: Training Program

    Hi All

    I want to improve my badminton to County Level (I currently play 1st Div).

    Want sort of training program should I be on.

    I go to the gym 2/3 times per week and do weights and fitness work
    Play 1x per week club practice with people below my standard and try new stuff
    Play 1x per week with people my standard competitive games.
    Play 1X per week with people around my standard competitive games.

    Should I be training more / differently / less ?????

    I need some help and advice. Also where can I find info on type of training drills and footwork practice routines etc etc?

    All help gratefully received.

    Hello Mark,
    I think that you need some pressure training now. TRY THESE.
    1 ) Play one against two players.
    2 ) Can somebody ( Coach ) feed you shuttles all over the court ( Multi Shuttles Exercises )
    3 ) By playing games is not the best training you can do you have to practice the strokes and learn new tactics mostly in doubles.
