Can someone identify the name or model number for the black grip in the picture? It is by far the best grip i have ever used from yonex.
I am planning to ask a friend to buy it from thailand.

Those are "fake" Yonex grips and you can find them on eBay. :D

Hmmmm.....this could get out of hand very quickly.

Astalavista, you won't get much help in this forum if you insult a forum regular (or pretty much anyone for that matter - we're here to help one another not call names/insult).

I certainly don't know enough about equipment to answer your question or verify what S4MadMan has said, but if you got it from a Yonex shop in Thailand and your friend is also going to get it from Thailand, why not send a picture of it to your friend so that he/she can buy it from a Yonex shop too? Surely there's no need to find out the name, since the look is pretty distinctive.....

What I purchased on eBay was definitely fake. The seller even told me so, said the grips were made in China and not real Yonex.

That's fine you bought something "authentic" in Thailand. Either way it doesn't matter to me. You definitely won't find those grips in the U.S. market because as of yet (if ever) they are not available.

And if you know so much about the grips, why ask questions? Just send the picture to your friend so he can buy them for you.
