For MXD, I am interested in the new pair, Tony Gunawan and Cheng Wen-Hsing. My chips are on them. -SC
yes, he is. there is another one of his sister playing badminton 'Sandra' but not in national team yet.
YEA! GO CHEN SHAO-CHIEH!! TAIWANESE PRIDE!! lol. ir eally want her to win. she shoulda beat xie xing fang in the world champs. she REALLY SHOULD HAVE. SHES GOTTA WIN FOR SURE!!! JIA YOU
Most likely. but look for Sairul to give everybody some trouble. Steamroll? Maybe. When was the last time they competed together? The top seeds aren't a bad bet and the Korean boys are likely to be dangerous. One of those two pairs will be in the final unless they're in the same half.
They last competed in the Dutch Open 2005, after winning the Bitburger Open Int. They were stopped in the semi-final by Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah in 2 sets, losing 13-15 in the rubber. Boe/Mogensen will meet Jung/Han in the quarter-final...should be an interesting match. At the other half, Tony/Halim should have a pretty smooth passage to the semi-final where they are expected to meet the Indo young pair of Hendra/Joko.
What was I thinking? I completely forgot about those two recent outings. That plus their long past history makes the term "steamroll" very appropriate. Jung/Han are a month-old pairing and the Danes have been together for at least a year but how much more?
The winner of MS? On my opinion NGUYEN Tien Minh from Vietnam is able to do a surprise this time. He may be still unkown, nevertheless he is becoming better and better...
