The draws are now out.....and while we are waiting for the telecast, let us see who are the big names participarting there.

With most of top players absent from the draw, Team Indonesia also sends out its second team.

    Shon Seung Mo (4)
    Andrew Smith (5)
    Sairul Amar Ayob (2)

    Team Indonesia:
    Fauzi Adnan
    Andre Kurniawan

    Non-Pelatnas Players:

    Tsai Chia-Hsin/Hu Chung-Shyan (8)
    Hendra Gunawan/Joko Riyadi (2)

-- WOW....Tony/Halim will steamroll all opponents and clinch another title. Good experience for Hendra/Joko to play Tony/Halim in the semi-final.

    Team Indonesia:
    Hendra Gunawan/Joko Riyadi
    Rian Sukmawan/Rendra Wijaya
    Yoga Ugi Kasah/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki
    Rossi Sugianto/Titon Gustaman (non-Pelatnas probably)

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
only 6 pairs are non Taiwanese players...unbelievable!

    Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing (1)
Koon Wai Chee Louisa/Li Wing Mui (4)
    Kate Wilson-Smith/Kellie Lucas (3)
    Rebecca Bellingham/Rachel Hindley (2)

    Team Indonesia:

-- if Lee/Lee does not win here, it will be the shock of the year! They could meet Rizal/Endang in the semi-final and Devin/Vita in the final, who must beat two seeds (should be okay).

For MXD, I am interested in the new pair, Tony Gunawan and Cheng Wen-Hsing. My chips are on them.

Most likely. but look for Sairul to give everybody some trouble.

Steamroll? Maybe. When was the last time they competed together? The top seeds aren't a bad bet and the Korean boys are likely to be dangerous. One of those two pairs will be in the final unless they're in the same half.

They last competed in the Dutch Open 2005, after winning the Bitburger Open Int. They were stopped in the semi-final by Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah in 2 sets, losing 13-15 in the rubber. Boe/Mogensen will meet Jung/Han in the quarter-final...should be an interesting match.

At the other half, Tony/Halim should have a pretty smooth passage to the semi-final where they are expected to meet the Indo young pair of Hendra/Joko.

What was I thinking? I completely forgot about those two recent outings. That plus their long past history makes the term "steamroll" very appropriate. Jung/Han are a month-old pairing and the Danes have been together for at least a year but how much more?

    The winner of MS?

On my opinion NGUYEN Tien Minh from Vietnam is able to do a surprise this time. He may be still unkown, nevertheless he is becoming better and better...
    :D
