I think CH and BCL will make it to final and BCL would win the CO. This is my prediction.

Danish gold medals in MS, MD and XD. Two of them by Jens Eriksen. ;)

Seriously though, I think Gade will beat Chen Hong for the 8th time. Chen Hong's style fits Peter like a glove. Peter hasn't lost to Chen Hong for five years, so obviously Chen Hong knows that he is going to have to come up with something spectacular if he's going to have a chance.

I also believe that anybody who can runs over Kenneth Jonassen like Chen Jin did is in pretty good form, and can also beat Bao... :p

Thus, Gade vs Chen Jin in the MS final.

both Chen Hong and Peter Gade cruised to the semi, while both Bao Chunlai and Chen Jin fought all the way hard to the semi. It is because Chen Hong and Peter Gade are too strong or just lucky. While Bao and Chen Jin are also lucky because all their games could go the other way. 2nd seed Jonassen, Wong CH, World Champ Xia Xuanze, for Chen Jin, and Lee HI, Sony, Santoso for Bao Chunlai, are all strong competitors with high fighting spirits, and all those matches were the matches of the day. The only thing in the upper half of the draw was Chen Hong's win against Lin Dan, even which was not fierce as it sounded like.

Wow, this is a good chance for both Bao and Gade as Lin Dan, their worst opponent, is out. However, I vote for Gade since he is a strong fighter, always stretching Lin Dan to the limit. He has been working hard ever since his knee surgery. I think he deserve a few more titles.

I think it's going to be Gade vs Bao in the final.

    Peter Gade Vs BCL

    Zhang Ning vs Xie Xingfang

Candra Wijaya/Sigit Budiarto vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Alven Yulianto

Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen vs Gao Ling/Huang Sui

I don't think the korean women have a change of winning WD, even if they get to the finals. Too many tough chinese pairs to go thru, not to mention Lee Hyo Jung still has mixed to play. Ra has tried to win both many times, i rememeber one time she had to take a stretcher out?

exactly what I think except Men's double. The guys from Denmark are really tall. One step of them could cost Indo guys two steps to fight back.

    Can Peter Gade win?

For Peter Gade to win, he must defeat two top chinese players. Is his physical condition good enough to win? At his age, very hard to say. Just have to wait and see if he has anything left for the finals.:)

Can't imagine how sore his muscles must feel after playing so many tough matches.

Since Lin Dan has lost, now wait to see another one to be a champion.....
Hmm I think Peter Gade will make it to the final and face Bao Chun Lai....
But still waiting for Bao's performance, coz sometimes he's not stable.

Hmm I think Peter or Bao will win this title...

If Peter win, it is good also so that we can see other player not from China can also win the title in the middle of China domination..

But still surprise why Lin Dan lost easily to Chen Hong....maybe he is so exhausted.....

I cannot decide if i want to see

    - ChenH vs. Chen Jin
    - Peter vs. Bao
    - Peter vs. Chen Jin

i suggest they should switch to group match format when they get to semi-final. that will be so much more interesting.

anyhow, my predictions are as follows:

    MEN'S SINGLES
    Chen Hong vs Peter Gade
    Bao Chunlaivs Chen Jin

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
    Zhang Ning vs Wang Chen
    Wang Yihan vs Xie Xingfang

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Candra Wijaya/Sigit Budiarto vs Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen
Luluk Hadiyanto/Alven Yulianto vs Jens Eriksen/Martin Lundgaard Hansen

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung
Zhang Dan/Zhang Yawen vs Gao Ling/Huang Sui

    MIXED DOUBLES
Zheng Bo/Zhao Tingting vs Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms
Jens Eriksen/Mette Schjoldager vs Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung
