I've been contemplating on whether or not in getting a LONG racquet. Can someone list the disadvantages and advantages of a LONG racquet?

however, you can even think of it yourself, i'm sure.

just imagine a fight.
one individual a dagger, one individual has a sword.

in which instances would a dagger be more useful? and which would favor a sword?

the dagger would be regular length racquets, and the sword, the long racquet.

obviously the differences isn't as great, but the idea is there.
in fact, in my opinion, the differences are too minute to even bother worrying over... you can always adapt to length differences by where you hold your racquet. if your'e not yet adapted to the long length, just hold it up by 1cm and slowly move your hand down until you do.

big disadvantage: you have a bit of higher chance to hit your partner or his racket
