It's just a very typical "tea restaurant" (Hong Kong style cafe) at Morrison Hill Road, between Wanchai and Causeway Bay. The food is so-so with no "egg tart". But the quantity is more than enough for an athlete.

If you are the one who said that you are a Singaporean working in HK, yes I'm that person. Nice to have known you! Wished we could have interacted more.

Yes this is a relatively inexpensive restaurant without expensive trimmings.
Maybe, I'm more used to our Singaporean spicy wanton mee and found the HK version a bit too mild.

I was told by my BC companion, Kong, that the Chinese players were also found dining at a popular 'goose meat' restaurant and when he brought me there, the taste was much better.

Here are some pics of the vicinity where the restaurant is located:

thanks Loh for the pics! i recognize the place. just a block or two from the QE stadium. so wish i could've been there!

it seems like a sizeable number of BC members attend each of the GP tournaments around the world. this is really quite cool indeed.

Seeing the 'typical' things players eat, I wonder do they pay much attention to their nutrition?

    So does nutrition affect performance?
